Exotic Swimsuit
Exotic swimwear is gaining rapid popularity all around the world. We will now overview the types and styles of swimsuits included in the exotic swimwear category on the basis of both style (and cut) and fabric. Another categorization of exotic swimwear is done on the basis of embellishments to various swimsuits. Embellishments making a swimsuit exotic include beads, sequins, crystal, mirrors, jewellery etc. We have now discussed the basis on which swimsuits are classified into the exotic and non exotic categories. Let us now review what constitutes exotic swimwear in two of the most popular categories:
Exotic Swimwear By Style (And Cut)
Some people define exotic swimwear by style (and cut). Following are some of the swimwear styles included the exotic swimwear category:
1. Brazilian Bikini – A Brazilian bikini is a bikini composed of a skimpy top (such as a halter top, triangle top, tie top etc) combined with low cut bottoms (such as thong bottoms). As evident from the name, Brazilian bikini was launched by the South Americans. Despite being inspired by the string bikini, Brazilian bikini provides lesser coverage.
2. Microkini - A microkini is (probably) the skimpiest form of swimwear. Typically microkinis cover only the genitalia. Mircokini is another type of swimsuits included in the exotic swimwear category. Most people are not comfortable with the little (or no coverage) offered by microkinis. Some versions of the microkini use glue or adhesive to hold the fabric in place. A classic example of this is stick on microkinis that are stickers used to cover the genitalia.
3. Topless (and Bottomless) Swimsuits – Despite being widely acceptable in Southern Europe and other areas, topless is still taboo in many parts of the world including North America and the UK. However, irrespective of acceptability monokinis are considered to be one of the most exotic swimsuits. Monokini (also called unikini) is a topless one piece swimsuit. Monokinis are gaining rapid popularity all over the world. Bottomless swimsuits are widespread usually in nude beaches and are rarely seen anywhere else.
Exotic Swimwear By Fabric
Following are some of the fabrics included in exotic swimwear category:
1. Animal Prints – Swimsuits made from animal printed fabrics (such as leopard prints, cheetah prints, zebra prints, snake prints, tiger striped prints etc) portray exotic like nothing else. Moreover, accessories (such as swimsuit cover-ups) made from animal printed fabrics are also convey an exotic feel.
2. Vinyls – Vinyl swimsuits are made from shiny leather like material and are so tight that they look painted on. Despite adding the much needed drama to your look, vinyls swimsuits are uncomfortable to wear. Holographic fabric, a type of vinyl is made from reflective materials.
3. Sheer Swimsuits - Sheer swimsuits are one of the most popular types of exotic swimswear. Sheer swimsuits are see-through swimsuits. Sheer swimsuits are of two types; the first are see through both wet and dry and the second become see through after getting wet. Although fabric from which sheer swimsuits are made may seem ordinary, this is most definitely not the case.
4. Tan Thru Swimsuits - Tan thru swimsuits are swimsuits that guarantee a perfect overall tan. Tan thru swimwear is manufactured by using a special knitting technology that creates thousands of tiny pores in the fabric. These pores perform the dual functions of allowing the sun to pass through ensuring a perfect tan and protecting your skin against harmful sun rays by allowing approximately half of the sun’s rays to pass through. Protection advanced by tan thru swimwear is similar to sun protection filter between 5 and 10 depending on each swimmer’s skin type, time of the day and UV (ultra violet) index.
